Coirm:

Chuir Múinteoir Eilís agus Rang 3 dráma dar teideal ‘An fhadhb leis an bPéacóg’ i láthair ag ‘Coirm’ ar an 12ú Feabhra 2013. Bhí ceol, amhránaíocht agus damhsa lárnach sa léiriú. Bronnadh dhá ghradam orthu – ceann do bhinneas na hamhránaíochta agus ceann do shoiléireacht na hurlabhra. Comhgháirdeas leo.

Jim Marshall:

Guímid gach rath ar Jim Marshall atá tar éis críochnú suas ag teagasc scileanna peile i mbunscoileanna an pharóiste. Rinne sé sár-obair leis na daltaí i Scoil Chrónáin le roinnt blianta anuas agus táimid fíorbhuíoch dó. blianta anuas agus táimid fíorbhuíoch dó.

D’éirigh le foireann iománaíochta na scoile (faoi 13) dul chomh fada leis an gCeathrú Chraobh ina gcomórtas i mbliana. Faoi láthair tá Máistir Colm agus Tom O Mahony ag díriú isteach ar na ‘Go Games’ (faoi 11) agus guímid gach rath orthu.  agus guímid gach rath orthu.

Seachtain na nInnealtóirí:

D’fhreastal Rang 5 agus Rang 6 ar dhá cheardlann i dTamhlacht le haghaidh Seachtain na nInnealtóirí agus bhaineadar an-taitneamh astu. Táimid fíorbhuíoch do Claire Cummins (Tuismitheoir gur innealtóir í féin i dTamhlacht) a thug togha na haire dóibh ag na ceardlanna. thug togha na haire dóibh ag na ceardlanna.

Spelling Bee:

Comhgháirdeas le Georgina Stiobhairt as Rang 5 a bhuaigh comórtas ‘Spelling Bee’ na scoile. Ghlac sí páirt ansin sa chomórtas sa leabharlann i dTamhlacht agus d’éirigh go maith léi ann.

Seachtain na Gaeilge:

Bhí Lá Gaelach sa scoil Déardaoin 14ú Marta agus bhain gach aon duine an-taitneamh as. Táimid buíoch do Mhúinteoir Deirdre agus do Mhúinteoir Nóirín a d’eagraigh Tráth na gCeist.  Ghlac gach aon rang páirt i gcoirmcheoil ar an lá freisin agus bhí an-éagsúlacht sna cur i láthair. Míle buíochas leis na múinteoirí ar fad a rinne éacht oibre don ócáid. Mar chlabhsúr ar an lá bhí céilí beag sa halla agus bhí Múinteoir Ailín ina ‘Bean an Tí’ iontach.

Céilí agus Ranganna Bodhráin:

D’éagraigh ‘Le Chéile’ Céilí mór ar an 12ú Aibreán i gClub na dTráchtálaithe, chun airgead a bhailiú chun íoc as na ranganna bodhrán atá Rob O’ Connor ag tabhairt do dhaltaí na scoile (ó Rang 2 – Rang 6). Buíochas ar leith le Lorraine Ní Bhroin a bhí ina ‘Bean an Tí’ bríomhar cumasach ar an oíche agus le Clann Seoighe a sheinn dúinn. Táimid buíoch do gach aon duine a chabhraigh in aon slí ar an oíche nó a sheol síntiús isteach chun na scoile ina dhiaidh. Gura fada buan iad lucht tacaíochta na scoile. Gura fada buan iad lucht tacaíochta na scoile.  iad lucht tacaíochta na scoile.

Le Chéile:

Bhí ar Deborah Strumble éirí as bheith ina Cathaoirleach ar ‘Le Chéile’ le déanaí de bharr cúrsaí teaghlaigh. Ba mhaith liom an deis seo a ghlacadh chun buíochas ó chroí a ghabháil léi as an obair iontach atá déanta aici féin agus ag ‘Le Chéile’ le cúpla bliain anuas.  Bhí Deborah toilteanach tabhairt faoi thionscnaimh ar mhaithe le páistí uile na scoile agus d’fhéadfá brath uirthi i gcónaí iad a thabhairt chun críche. Molaim í, ach go háirithe, as a cuid oibre ar an gcomhartha os comhair na scoile agus as an líon a chur suas sa pháirc i rith na Cásca. Táimid fíorbhuíoch di agus guímid gach aon rath uirthi féin agus ar a teaghlach.

Féinmheastóireacht Scoile:

Táimid ag díriú isteach ar an Matamaitic sa scoil i mbliana. D’fhreastal Múinteoir Clár ar Chúrsa 6 seachtainí ‘Mata sa Rang,’ a bhí urraithe ag an mBord Bainistíochta. Roinn Múinteoir Clar gach a d’fhoghlaim sí ar an bhfoireann ar fad agus sa tslí sin d’fhoghlaimíomar go léir mórán. Míle buíochas léi.

Líonadh isteach 170 ceistneoir maidir le Matamaitic inár scoil. Beidh Múinteoir Róisín, ár nasc-mhúinteoir, i bhfeighil ar an anailís anois agus cuirfear na torthaí ar fáil daoibh roimh dheireadh na scoilbhliana. anois agus cuirfear na torthaí ar fáil daoibh roimh dheireadh na scoilbhliana.

Tá béim mhór á cur againn ar fhoghlaim na dtáblaí anois agus tá feabhas dá réir ag teacht orthu. Iarraimid ar thuistí leanacht ar aghaidh ag seiceáil obairbhaile a bpáistí gach aon oíche.

Beidh na múinteoirí ar fad ag freastal ar cheardlann ‘Mata sna hArdranganna’ mar chuid d’uaireanta a chloig Pháirc an Chrócaigh i Mí an Mheithimh agus freastalóidh siad ar 3 Cheardlann ar Fhadhb-réiteach i Mí Dheireadh Fómhair 2013.

 Brat Glas 2:

Tá Múinteoir Vanessa tar éis Coiste Glas a chur le chéile chun tús a chur le hiarrachtaí na scoile chun an Dara Brat Glas a bhaint amach. Beifear ag díriú ar fhuinneamh a shábháil i mbliana agus sa scoilbhliain amach romhainn. Beidh seo an-tábhacht dúinn sa scoil toisc go

bhfuil costas na hola agus an leictreachais imithe in airde go mór, ag am go bhfuil an deontas a chuireann an Roinn Oideachais agus Scileanna ar fáil dúinn á laghdú gach bliain.

Gaeilge:

Faoi mar is eol daoibh tá Comórtas na Gaeilge á rith go leanúnach ag múinteoirí na scoile agus tá Múinteoir Nóra i gceannas air. Tugtar ticéid do na daltaí is mó a chloistear ag labhairt na Gaeilge sa scoil agus faightear duaiseanna nuair a bhaintear sprioc faoi leith amach.  Déanaimid comhgháirdeas le Conchúr Ó hIcí as Rang 4 a fuair an líon is mó ticéad go dtí seo sa scoil (80 ticéad).  Bronnfar turas scoile saor in aisce ar an rang is fearr ag deireadh na bliana. Faoi láthair tá an comórtas seo oscailte go maith. deireadh na bliana. Faoi láthair tá an comórtas seo oscailte go maith.

Níl gach dalta ag déanamh a dhíchill áfach agus nuair a fhillimid ar ais ar scoil beimid ag plé leis seo.  Iarraimid tacaíocht na dtuismitheoirí chun an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn, trí na páistí a spreagadh chun an Ghaeilge a labhairt i gcónaí ar scoil agus ag ócaidí áirithe sa bhaile, freisin, más féidir é.

Bhí gach aon rud go hiontach ar an lá – fiú amháin an aimsir!

Gáirdín na Scoile:

Tá mórán bleibíní, plandaí agus bláthanna curtha ag na ranganna ar fad sa scoil i mbliana agus féachann an scoil níos deise dá bharr. Bhí Múinteoir Fionnghuala agus Rang 1 ach go háirithe fíorghnóthach agus chabhraigh Rang 6 leo na plandaí a chur. Arís i mbliana is iad Rang 3 atá  ag obair i ngairdín na scoile. Tá na páistí agus múinteoir Eilís ag déanamh monatóireacht ar an bhfás atá faoi na glasraí agus na torthaí agus tá siad  ag súil leis an lá gur féidir leo iad a thabhairt abhaile leo. ag súil leis an lá gur féidir leo iad a thabhairt abhaile leo.an lá gur féidir leo iad a thabhairt abhaile leo. súil leis an lá gur féidir leo iad a thabhairt abhaile leo.

Bulaíocht Cíbear:

Tháinig an Garda Frank Howe isteach ar scoil chun cur i láthair a thabhairt do Rang 5 & 6 ar bhulaíocht Cíbear. Thug sé caint an-mhaith uaidh agus thug sé bileoga eolais do na páistí. Tá sé i gceist ag Frank ábhar eolais breise a sheoladh abhaile chuig na tuismitheoirí amach anseo. Míle buíochas leis as teacht isteach chugainn.

Tréadlia ar Cuairt:

Tháinig tréadlia Sinéad ar cuairt chuig na Naíonáin ar an 24 Aibreán. Thug Múinteoir Nóirín a madra ‘Kimberly’ isteach sa rang ar an lá agus rinne an tréadlia scrúdú sláinte ar Kimberly.
